Welcome to the Wizards Room!

This is a FREE prototype for future interactive content from Magicka School.

Play this interactive Halloween experience as you try discovering all 14 magical objects in the room. As you do so, you will reveal information about Samhain, with other content exploring Lenormand, Tarot, Ritual and even a special connection to Arkartia!

This is a prototype PC version ONLY, we will look to release future content with mobile/MAC versions!

Click on the image to download the Wizards Room to your PC (Windows) computer:

INSTRUCTIONS

1. The file will be downloaded as a zip file and take approx. 20mins - 1hr to download, depending on your internet speed.

2. When downloaded, locate the zip file, unzip the files and locate the unzipped files in your file explorer.

3. Click on WizardsRoom.exe (with the "U" Icon) to run the room.

4. Use the arrow keys and mouse to move (or W/A/D/S if you are familiar with first-person games).

5. Use SPACE to jump or stand on chairs, etc. which is necessary to reach two objects!

6. Use E to select and de-select items.

Not all objects are interactable - there are 13 OBJECTS + 1 OBJECT (specific to Arkartia) in the Room. Practice to find the items, they will only pick up by their base, middle or handles and when in the centre of your viewfield.

7. Press ESCAPE to immediately exit the Wizards Room!

NOTES: You may need to install DIRECTX as part of the installation.

Please ignore any "trust this program" warnings by Anti-Virus software. This is a pure build with no Malware to my knowledge!

BONUS POINT: A former librarian died in the library and still haunts it. How do you think they died? There's just one clue. Let us know on our Social Media groups if you figure it out!

This experience was created by Marcus Katz as a prototype for 3d interactive spaces which will be used in the forthcoming Natural Magic course at Magicka School.

Notes: This prototype has a few typos, the ESC key to close the program should be CTRL+X, and there is no helpful 'cross-hair' target-sight in the middle of the screen, but future versions will be more advanced!
